ANDREA HERNÁNDEZ ROBLES

Andrea is an energetic and curious student currently enrolled in a master's degree in architecture at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.

She believes in working for and with the community. Inspired by people and the wonders of everyday life, she takes a holistic approach to design. We are sentient and social beings; therefore, spaces should be designed to evoke this capacity. During her bachelor's she was president of the School of Architecture's Student Council, where she reinforced these ideas by collaborating with various artists in the creation of new murals for the school's infrastructure, working along students bringing aid to communities impacted by Hurricane Fiona, promoting student life in school which had been negatively affected by the pandemic, among other projects.

As a professional, she aims to keep working towards people and community.On her spare time, she enjoys drinking coffee, crocheting, and writing poetry.
