WELCOME TO THE STUDIO

We are a multidisciplinary architectural design studio dedicated to collaboration as a means to inspired design.

MV STUDIO is an award-winning architecture and design studio based in Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. The studio specializes in residential, commercial architectural design and fine arts.

With a collaborative focus, MV STUDIO is a place where diverse design backgrounds ranging from art, architecture, interior and graphic design provoke critical discourse and lively culture. The Studio operates with the determination to connect people and enhance their experiences through the built environment.

MV STUDIO’s approach relies on the understanding that design benefits from the ideas that are born from members crossing domains together while addressing the challenges that arise during our studio and office projects.

CULTURE

As architects, artists, designers and non-conformists, we intend to bridge the gaps between creative disciplines to provide a different design experience for our clients.

We are at the core, a band of industry members navigating through life together whose diversity of academic training in varied schools of thought help us approach design in an unconventional way. Our values align in the desire of creating unique projects for our clients and building a different business model that goes beyond the normative of traditional architectural design firms.

ALFREDO MARÍN GAOS

B.F.A.

Partner, Design Director
Alfredo is an Artist and Designer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Since 2000, Alfredo has exhibited his art in Puerto Rico, New York, Indiana, and Illinois. Design Philosophy: "We are all obligated in one way or another to be surrounded by, tortured & bombarded by, bored,  inconvenienced by, surprised and perhaps even inspired by a universe of good and bad design decisions during every single waking moment of our lives. This is what motivates me to make things function, look, perform and communicate better. Design, in the best of cases, when well planned, thought & executed, has the ability to improve the way we live and work."
